1. What is ‘Watch Remote Universal Control’?
‘Watch Remote Universal Control’ is an Apple Watch application that can replace your physical Smart TV and Streaming devices remotes in a matter of seconds. With a few simple taps and no setup required, it is the most convenient way to control your television and/or streaming devices using your phone.
2. How can I connect this app with my TV?
The app automatically synchronizes between your iPhone and your Apple Watch.
To use Watch Remote, the list of available devices first needs to be synced from your iPhone to your Watch. Please follow these steps:
- Make sure the app is open on both iPhone and Watch.
- From the iOS main screen, tap “Manage Devices”. This step will scan the list of your devices connected to the same network.
- From the list generated, tap to any TV/device in order to add it to your Watch. This will add it to the list of devices synced to your Watch.
- From the Watch, choose the device you wish to control. The remote control screen then becomes available.
Please note that if your iOS device and Watch are not paired, the Watch will connect to your WiFi independently - which limits connection to new devices. When first connecting, please make sure that both devices are paired and that your iPhone is connected to the same WiFi network as the TV and/or streaming device you wish to remote control. Once the TV or streaming device has been synced to your Watch, you can skip this step.
Please note that if you have just turned on your Smart TV, it may take up to 2 minutes for your device to find it wirelessly. If you experience difficulties with connecting your Smart TV to the application, please contact us at [email protected] .

Absolutely. However, free users are limited in terms of how long they can use our product per day, as well as receiving both banner and interstitial (full-screen) ads. Subscribed users can use the app without limits and benefit from an ad-free experience.

6. Is ‘‘Watch Remote Universal Control’’ safe?
‘‘Watch Remote Universal Control’’ uses only your own private WiFi connection in order to link your Smart TV with your Watch. This app does not collect any data whatsoever.
7. How can I unsubscribe from ‘‘Watch Remote Universal Control’’ Premium service?
You can manage all of your app subscriptions through your iTunes Account Settings by following these instructions:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Tap iTunes & App Store.
- Tap on your Apple ID.
- Tap View Apple ID when the pop-up window appears.
- Enter your Apple ID password or fingerprint ID when prompted.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the Subscription you want to manage.
